Stridefly is a private app for your phone that brings accounts, budget and portfolio together. We built it because no combination of apps and spreadsheets gave us one picture we could trust.
We were already using two finance apps, several banking and brokerage apps, and multiple spreadsheets. The spreadsheets brought every account into one place for what the apps didn't fully support: totals across all our accounts, returns, intraday updates and rebalancing. And the brokerage numbers in those apps could lag by up to a day.
That was an impressive amount of financial tooling for still not being able to answer a basic question: are we on track to become financially independent?
Stridefly is one trustworthy picture of what you own, where your money is going, and whether you're actually getting ahead. Accounts, budget and portfolio in one place, with the investment tools we wanted: allocation targets, drift and a rebalance plan. We also wanted the numbers to be honest, so Stridefly says when a value is estimated or a price is stale instead of hiding it.

We don't sell advertising and we're not a data broker. We never sell your personal information, and we don't share your financial data for advertising or marketing.
Your accounts, balances, transactions, budgets and positions are saved on your phone and in your own iCloud account. Stridefly does not keep a database of your balances, positions or transactions. When you connect a bank or brokerage, you sign in through Plaid or your institution, and Stridefly never receives your login details. Your financial data passes through a service we operate on its way to your phone. That service does not keep copies of your balances, positions or transactions. It keeps encrypted connection credentials and cursors, plus limited identity and device information needed to operate connections and notifications. Analytics are off until you turn them on. They are anonymized and cannot include your financial data or account details. Read the privacy details.
