Net worth

See your net worth across the accounts you connect or add, in one number

Stridefly is an app for your phone that tracks your net worth across the accounts you already have. Connect banks and brokerage accounts or add accounts by hand, and Home shows one net worth number with a chart behind it. Your history can come with you: import past net worth from a CSV.

Stridefly tracks net worth across cash, investments, retirement, property and loans

Stridefly supports cash, credit, investment, retirement, health savings account (HSA), 529 education savings and UTMA custodial accounts. Property and loans are added by hand, so a house and a mortgage sit next to your brokerage accounts. Home groups accounts by category so you can see what makes up the total.

The Home tab shows net worth over time

Home leads with a net worth chart you can view across several ranges. Below it: accounts by category, this month's spending against your target, an investments card, recent transactions and alerts. Stridefly's net worth view is meant to answer one question quickly: where do things stand today?

Net worth over one year: $485,400, up $681 today and about $59,430 over the past year. Net worth over one year: $485,400, up $681 today and about $59,430 over the past year.

Connect a bank or brokerage, or add the account yourself

Stridefly connects to US institutions through Plaid, bringing in transactions and investments. Not every account needs a connection: you can add an account manually. If the same account arrives twice, Stridefly flags possible duplicates for you to review.

Bring your net worth history with you

If you already keep net worth history in a spreadsheet, Stridefly can import it from CSV. The chart then starts where your records start, not on the day you installed the app.

Estimated values are labeled as estimated

When a value is estimated, or a price is stale or incomplete, Stridefly says so next to the number. A net worth figure that quietly rests on a missing price is worse than one that tells you what is missing.

Your net worth stays on your phone and in your iCloud

Your balances and history are saved on your phone and in your own iCloud account. You can hide balances on screen and lock the app with Face ID. See Privacy.

Questions about net worth tracking

Does Stridefly track net worth automatically?

Yes. Connected accounts update from your institution, usually about once a day rather than in real time. Property, loans and manual accounts keep the value you enter until you change it.

Can I track a house or a mortgage?

Yes. Property and loans are manual accounts, so you enter and update the values yourself.

Can I import my net worth history from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Net worth history can be imported from a CSV file.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. You can add accounts manually, and Demo mode lets you try the app with sample data first.
